The past two years have left an everlasting influence on everyone’s lives, emotionally and professionally. The Covid outbreak has altered life as we know it: our way of living, socializing, functioning, you name it. It has all experienced a surprising transformation. However, this remote working liberty comes with its downsides as well.

Greater chance of burnout
Not everyone believes flexible work hours are a boon. Reason: there is no clear demarcation of work from home. One may continue working beyond their planned work hours, disrupting their work-life equilibrium. Prolonged exposure to such routines may cause employee burnout.
Lack of motivation
Working side by side with coworkers can encourage an individual to work efficiently. This may not happen when working alone. Remote working can also increase circumstances of distractions, which may negatively impact productivity.
