Job Description:

Tool Maker Position, Exeter Tool Room $27-30 per hour

Summary:

Tool Maker/ Machinist position is in a fast growing, quick turn,prototype environment.Daily responsibilities will involve making or modifying jigs, fixtures, gages, prototypes, part components, revision changes on prototypes, and occasionally production work or rework to help achieve company goals.

Candidate will be responsible for his/her project(s) as assigned and completing them in a timely manner while communicating any related issues with designers, engineers, and management.Candidate will be responsible for 100% inspection of his/her projects. (Confirmation by inspection only when necessary)  Components being released by the tool room are expected to be 100% compliant with print requirements.


Experience/Qualifications:

Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a tool room environment with a Prototrak background.

Must be able to read blueprints, set-up and operate all tool room equipment including milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.

Must have a solid knowledge in the correct usage of all measuring equipment required to perform their duties.

Must be comfortable working in a team environment where ideas, information, and knowledge is shared with other members in order to achieve production requirements. 

Programming G-code and Mastercam CAD/CAM experience is preferred but not required.
